Oh, I wish you could have kept some of it! This was a long shot, but I was able to make something out of it, and for that, I'm thankful.

Thanks so much! Glad to have you following along.
Thanks! I was pleased with the depth the frame has too. I have never heard to use some oil when cutting glass. Good tip! That is a good tip about garage sales and Goodwill. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Thanks for following along!

Yes, you guessed it exactly...1mm thread. I really like the look of it. It gives it a beefy look, but pulled tight and hammered flat like I did, it is nice. If you can picture the size of an iPad Mini, the thread on a case that size is very fitting, in my opinion. Thanks for checking out the project!
Oh, that's awesome! What will you be making first? Tag me on Instagram @Brudaddy when you get going...I'd love to see!
Tool rolls are a great thing to have around! I have one that came with my chisels, and I really like how I can roll it up and take all of them with me anywhere. Thank you for the kind words and for checking out the project!
Hey! Awesome that I can encourage you to finish! You can just use a couple of cheap clamps like I did. I didn't even have a stitching pony. Tag me on Instagram @Brudaddy with some update photos and the finished products. I want to see!

Thanks for checking out the project! Good eye...that is my little 5 year old. I built that kids workbench a few months ago with my 7 year old son, but it was always intended to be for both of them. She had no problem stepping right in there and using it. See the pink thing down low on that bench? That's her toolbox that she and I built a couple of years ago. Eventually, that kids workbench project will end up here. I have a video of it on my youtube channel if you want to check it out, and maybe build one with your kids!
Hey Kelly, thanks for checking out the project! Yeah, I've found that is much easier to get the pallets apart that way. Then, getting the heads of the nails out is a cinch. I've never seen someone use a wood wedge for this type of thing...interesting. Yeah, my little girl likes being out there with me. I built that kids workbench with my 7 year old son a few months back, and she uses it as much as he does. ha!
I wish I had come up with the idea...maybe I would be rich. ha ha. Glad to spark an idea for you. I find this way much easier, just make sure you have a blade that is for wood with nails. I tried it with just a metal blade, but you end up cutting through some of the wood too, and a metal-only blade doesn't do that very well.
