Hi there! I actually glued it all together and down to the mat beneath it but, honestly, I would not recommend that for future projects - it was incredibly labor intensive. Traditionally people have always sewed them together but if I did this again I think I would join them with more fabric by looping the fabric through the braids.

Hi there, it actually isn't a meter. The meter is on a pole in my yard, this is just the conduit where the electric lines come into my home.

Hi there, actually the smell of the bees wax and shea butter is far more dominant, the cocounut is extremely subtle. The shea butter has a very warm butterly and waxy smell.

Yes it does! My cousin is an auto mechanic and the last time he was over I had him try it and he was absolutely amazed at how well it worked. He said one particular place on his hand had NEVER been that clean lol I know what I'm getting for him for Christmas!

Hi there, we're kinda hoping for that here lol, think it will go fine with our "barn yard" look we have going on. But I would think a good rustoleum paint would take care of that problem. Thanks for coming by and checking it out!

Very true! Out in the sticks where I'm at the only "code" was that I needed to check with out house insurance company. Otherwise we were good to go. They were just happy we finally had something lol But it is very important to check with local building codes before doing anything like this.
Oh that looks awesome! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
That's a wonderful idea and actually something I considered doing too! Thank you for sharing with us!

Hi there! So far we've had a couple of serious rain storms and haven't noticed any problems because when the garters get full they just run over. I'm wondering in trouble areas like this where you live (I know up here in northern MN we don't see anything like the storms that you guys do!) if you made the gutters a lot more shallow. So instead of cutting off 1/4 of the pipe like we did instead cut it completely in half making a much more shallow gutter that would overflow a lot quicker?
