-Desktop or laptop as accessible
- Have enough space in your external device.
- Have enough battery power for the procedure or plug-in charger.
Open Control panel in your computer and go to Backup and Restore from System and Security.
Click Back up and restore your files. Window opens and click on the Set-up backup.
Setup backup window pops up, then click on the external hard-disk where you want to keep your backed up files and click Next.
New windows open where it says, what do you want to back up?
The option is given either windows to choose and or user to choose. I chose to use the let windows choose option because it is recommended, and as it imports all the files that is necessary for the restoring when somethings goes wrong.
New windows opens where it ask to review your backup settings . Click Settings and run backup.
Back-up starts and it might take about 30-50 min depending upon the files we have on our hard-drive.
When backup is completed, it indicates that the back up is successful. The windows will show the hard-disk where we backed-up files are and how much memory backup took.
It shows that the backed up files are in removable hard-disk.
Step 9: You Are Done!!!
After completion of all process you would be able to access all the data that you have saved. You will have less to worry even if your computer breaks down.
