Projector Repair(or Not)

So I was on a walk with some friends an i stumble upon a projector in the trash. When I plugged it in it ran but the fan in the back was broken. I then opened up the case a hot wired in a new 40mm fan. When i put it back together, though, there were discolored bars on the sides so I opened it up again to see if i could fix it. I fiddled with it for a wile ad blew the dust out but to no avail. I was not able to fix my protector.

I am interning this in the Full Spectrum Laser Contest so please vote for me. I am looking to make more videos like this but i can not afford a Laser cuter or a 3D printer. Thanks for reading, favorite follow and vote for me.

I have a lot of projector bulbs that doesn't fit into our new projectors. How can I make use of them? can I modify one old projector and use these bulbs instead?

selling these for past 6 years I can tell you if the fan is broken it's probably also got a burned lamp. Does it do anything when you power it up? Flashing power light can sometimes indicate what's wrong with it

My apologies, I didn't see the one was a video. The bars could be indication of the organic panels breaking down. The LCD panels are an organic material and do break down over time. I think that series is probably 5 or so years old which may be why it looks like that.

Honestly, I'm not sure they are replaceable by mere mortals. We usually have to send them in for repair and even still I am not sure those panels are replaceable.

Quick update my acount was haked a few hours ago so there were some fake coments so please ignore them. i have fix the breach.

You don't need a laser cutter or 3D Printer to win a contest...a good step-by-step with nice pictures and good descriptions of how you made it is a good start though...!
