Word Clock Controlled by 114 Servos
Hi Inventor22,The view in3d is taken care of by the Instructables site, so it beats me! If you really want to know, I’d recommend reaching out to the Instructables moderators. Tomatoskins, et al. They’re very helpful. PS. Cudos on the organizer! Damn that was good!

Hmm, the legs attach to the leg plate. That is included in the "Portal turret v4.zip" file. The small white part that inserts into the leg plate is included with the servos.I think you are referring to the "pitch frame" for the other part you're missing? There are two shown above. Otherwise, I'm not sure which other part you are referring to.

No pain at all. If I post this build with junk links, then I should fix them!I've updated the section of the build dealing with purchased parts, removing the links and just referencing the common part numbers. Thanks for the heads up.
Sorry bout that Djandco, it turns out they were "hidden" away. They're there now. Too much shuffling of files through the various updates. Thanks for the heads up.I'm happy whenever I am blamed for "forcing" someone to buy a better tool! Happy printing!

I've uploaded a modified pitch frame, named "pitch frame - modified 1". The pin bores are the same as the original, so you can drill them out to suit your pins. Should be good to over 4mm without concern for making it too weak.

75mm x 100mm. The gap in the frame is 3.2mm, so max thickness I recommend is 3mm.

Target following: yes. One could do it optically with a camera, but couldn't do that with microcontroller like Nano. Would have to go to Raspberry Pi Zero or other microprocessor. It's been done in a Portal turret already!! https://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-moving-and-tracking-Portal-Turret/I would love to try having multiple turrets in a room that act in a hive-like manner, that communicate with one another and follow a target. Would be cool and creepy!

The eye is too small and I was working on a quick update to the lens to make it bigger. I will look into the F360 file sharing. Haven't ever done that before.
As for the components, the Lidar sensor the most expensive component at ~$8 (CDN). Arduino and sound chip as low as $3 ea. Servos <$2 ea. LEDs and resistors <$1. Hard components $20 (~$15 US). ~24hrs of printing all parts if you're all set up for it, so maybe $10-$20 there? + some wiring and soldering and hardware. Less than $50 total for sure.
I thought about that, but decided against it. I knew it would garner some attention from friends and family and I didn't like the idea of a child staring into the laser... A bright LED gives the effect, and a super-bright LED would be effective too. Besides, if laser used, next step is bullets....
Ok, post is now complete with Arduino file and STL files. Good luck and happy fabbing!
Thanks! I will be posting the parts and code in the next day or so. Need to clear up some time and tidy them up a bit.

75mm X 100mm, 3mm thick max.
I will be making some more but am waiting for a few parts. I will let you know once I've received the parts and updated design.

Sure, lots of ways, for the box. Could make this out of cardboard, wood, lexan sheets. 4 uprights with slots to capture the prints. The problem is making the lithophane panels without 3D printing. That is more art and craftsmanship.

Hmm, I'm not really in the business of making these for "profit". I thought I was giving it away!!I'll have to figure out how much time it would take plus the parts to make another one, you know, in case I get asked again.
