Thanks for the tip, I am looking it up now. I know you can form it with a heat gun but did not know about the iron.

Thanks so much, it has been a fun project so far. It means a lot coming from someone like you. Maybe one day I'll have as many post as you. I have been building and creating things my whole life but only found out about Instructbles last year. It has made me want to document every project so maybe I can inspire someone else. I have all of the pieces ready to ad the hip roof around it. Just need a free weekend free of hurricanes or other projects to complete it. I hope you check back later when I finally finish it.

Unfortunately this was done a year before I knew of instructables so I don't have that many. I use to take pictures to send to my dad who built his own house and is a great influence on me. I intend on making a post in the future about how I designed and created the coffered ceiling. I am glad you like it. I am not a professional builder so most of these posts are of projects I have done to update and make my home better for my family.
This was done before I even knew about Instructables so I did not take that many pictures during the process. Yes it is a before and after type of post as an inspiration of what can be done. If you need instructions of how to scrape glue and paint walls I will be happy to make another post the next time I do it. As to the rest of the post I did state that it would be covered in a follow up post.

Beautiful table. I love how you used so many different salvaged pieces. Looks like it could go in a Frank Loyd Wright house.
I believe a picture is worth a thousand words. With that being said, if there is any part that you cannot figure out, please ask. These bookcases where built for my specific needs and room dimensions so yours would definitely vary in some way or another.
We have an eleven foot ceiling plus a seven inch step down in that room. There is a wall dividing two rooms with an arch pass through right at the eight foot level so the book cases are exactly eight feet high.
Sorry this has taken so long to post but I was out with food poisoning. Here is a picture of the Jig I made. I set it up quick to take the photo but you can see the cut. All you do is rotate the piece to cut all four sides.
Thank You, I have done crown molding before but figuring out the doors and columns took some research.

I used a lot of old PVC pipe I already had but if I were to guess, I would say $65 to $75 dollars. The PVC trim board was the most expensive at around $35 followed by the foam and PVC pipe. The resin tape was purchased on clearance. The best part is I had enough left over to make the Zombie Wolf.
