    Arduino Laser Engraver Wood Design!

    HiThe main changes I made are:on the mechanical part:1: I have decreased the useful area, now I can actually engrave a dimension of (380mmx340mm).2: I replaced Nema 17 with Nema 23 (2A, 24v).3: I used a threaded rod (shown above) . Which is 8mm / round. So to calculate the step/mm; 200/8 = 25 steps to travel 1mm. I used TB6560 stepper driver cards. So I set the switches ((Sw1 = 1, SW2 = 0, SW3 = 1, S1 = 0) = 2A, Also for the micro steps mode, I used 1/8 steps, so S3 = 1, S4 = 1).The stepper motor must do (25x8) steps to move 1mm.=====$100= 200.000 and also $101=200.000.I made corrections to have a perfect alignment of all moving mechanical parts.I also changed the config.h file to my needs...............I use a laser (shown above) that supports TTL and PWM, so I used pin 11 of the A...

    HiYes indeed, I think it’s a mechanical problem, because I noticed that I have a lot of backlash on both axes (x and y).Indeed, during the mechanical construction, I didn’t work well the support nuts of the axes, especially x axis.Now I’m doing the mechanical part again.
