This instructable is definitely compiled of some seriously misleading info. Please know that Transistors can Transfer Resistance as you use in your argument, but that's not what makes it a transistor. If your word was true then any metal with resistance can be considered transistors.

C3 connects between Pin 2 and Pin 1. The inductor has two ends, one end connects to C1, and the other end connects to the resistor.Pin 3 connects to the end of the inductor that connects to the resistor. Hope it helps, sorry for the late response.

- argha halder commented on argha halder's instructable Wireless electricity transmission circuit2 years ago
Could you post a picture of it? Otherwise it is really hard to tell.
View Instructable »Did you properly remove the insulation from the wire? And also post a picture of the circuit, because from your description it is really difficult to give a proper solution to the problem.
- argha halder commented on argha halder's instructable make a solar cell easily2 years agoView Instructable »
You ofcourse have to use rechargeable battery, and also the voltage output is really low with this solar cell, so most likely you will need a step up converter to use it.

You are welcome !! Glad to see you got it to work :) . One thing I would suggest you to do is to attach the one end of the resistor to row 15, and the other end to row 16, and also move the wire that is in row 15 to 16. Because when you put the two ends of the resistor in the same row it shorts out. However it is only a minor issue, and would need to be fixed if the transistor gets too hot too fast. Anyway great job Sir!!

Great instructable ! I would recommend you to use hot glue or some sort of rubber tubing to make sure the wires don't get stuck or come loose by accident. By the way I'm 16 too! Hoping to see many more instructables from you in the future!! Good luck!!

Most likely the copper wire has a layer of thin enamel insulation that resists conductivity. Take a lighter and hold the end of the wires in fire for a second, you will see the insulation burn away. The insulation is really really thin, so its difficult to tell sometimes. And coiling over a hundred times makes a stronger magnetic field which will attract the other magnet. The conductivity isn't affected by how many times you coil the wire. I hope it helps :)

Seems like a fun project to make. Thank you for writing such a well documented instructable for it!
