  • Cultivate Wild Yeast to Make Almond Flour Sourdough Biscuits From Scratch

This Instructables is awesome! It was cool to read about the different methods you explored while you were trying to get the right flavor and texture. Way to become a kitchen scientist! I'm wondering how it would do in a loaf pan as part of a big bake vs. biscuit size? I imagine to keep the bread from getting too crusty, you would have to steam the oven as you baked it.THanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for taking my class! These raised buns look great! I've been meaning to experiment with adding dried fruits. One of my trusty baking books recommends soaking dehydrated fruits for a few hours before adding it to the dough...thanks for the inspiration to experiment!

This is a really neat idea for an assistive device! I would love to feature this project to the Assistive Tech channel, could you update your thumbnail image to an image of the actual device - even if it's just zoomed in on the sail? May I also suggest updating your title to be slightly more descriptive like "Audible Telltales for Sailing" - this can help increase visibility to your project. This is really a great Instructable, thanks for sharing your process and knowledge with us here.

This is such a cool project! Would it be possible to get a share-link to a .mp4 of that video? If you're able to make any edits, we've done some research and testing around what kind of DIY videos perform best, they typically share these traits:sounds good! upbeat cheery music without lyrics is a great way to set the pacing for your video's cuts and help bridge shots together.fill the screen! videos formatted 16:9 or 9:16 will perfectly fill the screen of any mobile device, which is where a majority of the Instructables community sees our social media posts.show it, don't say it. it's important to use voice-overs and text-explainers sparingly, we've learned if you clearly show what you would have tried to explain viewers learn better, faster, and keep watching.speed it up! folks are in a hurry to move on to the next item in their infinitely scrolling list of subscriptions. when you speed up your video you look like a DIY superhero and viewers are able to learn more in a shorter amount of time. We've also noticed that they're more likely to watch the complete video and engage with the post after viewing.short and sweet. videos less than 60 seconds are more likely to be viewed all the way through vs. videos that go over a minute.Alternatively, people also love gifs of electronics tasks like soldering and component connections. If you need help making gifs take a look at this Instructable. If you're able to, keep it under 3 MB, that's the largest file size Twitter will accept :)Let us know if you have any questions :D Congrats on your recent win!

We had a busy few weeks around the office and I'm finally able to jump back into this forum topic - thanks for your patience! That project is awesome and it looks like you've already gotten a lot of community feedback! Do you have a shorter version of that video (30 seconds or less) that we may be able to share to twitter? You can upload a .mov to your project or email it directly to us at et@instructables.comCongrats again on your recent contest win!:D

    The Very Lazy Susan

Hey there! Congrats on writing your first Instructable :) It's so cool that you were able to share your learnings as you built your skills - do you have any more information about the circuit and schematic you built? Including things like schematics and .STL files is a great way to get more reviews and remixes of your projects.Lastly, do you have any video of this project in action? :D Thanks for sharing!

Hey there! this seems like a really cool project! I'd love to see more of info in your intro step about why you wanted to build this project. Instructables is the perfect place to tell your DIY story and our community loves to know the history of why you decided to build something. Here are some tips: if you change your title to be more descriptive of what this item is, and including a thumbnail of your finished project as your main image, is you'll likely get more folks clicking on your project.
