How to Write an Instructable
Great idea if your cats like this kind of toy, it's true they get bored easily, so having options to change the "prey" helps a lot.If you can get a cheap rod that winds up so you can make it shorter to store, it would be even more helpful.
In using pebbles in the tray humidifying, can you add a little bleach in the water to keep algae from forming?
Beautiful project! BTW, I'm not near the ocean, but I've found "driftwood" in the form of gnarly, dried-out pieces of juniper trees. You might have trees in your area that are beautifully twisted that would make an awesome base.
Great idea! I love seeing the insides of electronic stuff. I've used Envirotex, a casting resin often used in crafts. With it, you can use an electric heat tool (also used in crafts) or a small butane torch to carefully heat and pop the bubbles.
Nice idea and workmanship. One thing I would add is to be sure the project is level before you add the resin. It will flow to even out, so if it's not level....
Fascinating instructable. Well done with great photos. Would you mind giving a rough estimate on costs? Also, the love and respect you have for your uncle really came across, which makes this labor of love even better.
Great article! I especially like all the links you put in. This is definitely an article I'm saving. And sending to my friends. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for the article. I'd like to try this on a set of silverware handed down from my grandmother, but there is no rust. Do I still need to add salt? If so, does it matter whether it is iodized or not?
Thanks for this great idea. Right now I have a large cardboard box I use for spray painting small objects, but this is better! How often would you recommend changing filters?
