Not exactly. But it's not a problem doing the 100kg of weights that I currently squat, though I need to buy more shortly. I'd guess more than double that as I can hang off the bar loaded with all my weights and I'm 90kg. I have used massive 125mm screws to fix the wall brackets to the wall where the wall clamps attach for bench press and squats. So they go right in to the studs behind. I was very lucky with the positioning of the studs

Great project and an excellent read. Thanks for sharing. Definite food for thought as I'm considering a home built camper of some description right now. I hadnt thought of a wrecked vehicle!

thanks. I get a few comments from visitors. A lot of wives asking thier husbands why they cant make somehting like that
I just meant better on the wetter side than the dryrer side. I was lucky enough not to notice much in the way of bubbles and air pockets during the pour. It's two years old now and zero signs of cracking anywhere, so overall it worked out very well.
Good question. Something that tormented me during my design phase when I was trying to find a way to remove it afterwards. The answer is that I left it in; however after two years there are a few sings of black streaky water marks which may develop in to worse. So I plan to cut this out soon with a Multitool, grinder and a crowbar. Its pretty easy to get underneath it so should only take an hour or so

Hi, looks good. I love concrete products like this. I cant quite see the steps after de-moulding though. Surely there was a grind/polish and a seal involved?

I have a bunch of Belgian, Austrian and German beer glasses. Even though new zealand Produce decent beer in the last couple of decades, hoegaarden and leffe are still the best
- browneaction commented on pinchan's instructable Use Your Tablet As Raspberry Pi Screen2 years ago
I think you're missing the point. Raspberry Pis are normally hidden in a cupboard somewhere performing a task; not sitting on display beside a TV
using a Pi as a media player plugged in to an HDTV is so 2012.
You might want to google the raspberry pi and see why and it was designed
View Instructable »@dj_segfault. I have several RPs running tasks and virtually never need to plug a screen in to them after they were set up. So they are stored under the stairs with my fibre ONT, ISP router, IP camera POE switch etc out of the way. So a remote viewing method like this is handy for the odd occasion you need to change something

I ruined the glass of a fish aquarium before by cleaning the algae with steel wool. It seemed like a good idea at the time but it creates fine scratches in the glass; which in turn attracts alga and becomes harder and harder to clean. The scratches the steel wool makes become quite noticeable over time
Wow that's a great looking console for starters and an awesome idea for a mod. I've been on the lookout for a nice second hand console for years but not sure what I'd do with it exactly; this gives me an idea.
