Easier to fill an intermediate jar with an indicator dessicant.Air to the vacuum pump goes through the dessicant media and gets absorbed. When the dessicant turns pink, bake it, dry it and reuse it.No moisture in pump oil...

Usually the wires are knotted where they pass through the board due to copper wire being soft. The small conductors will fail individually until the fixture falls out of the bus bar. There are even special knots to do this.
Way fabulous!Simplicity + accuracy + hard work = Great Job!Great pictures + great writing = Fabulous Reading! Loved it.Looking to do something similar in Florida.Researching ideas now...
I was not clear enough. What did you do to support the weight of the bulb/socket/mason jar?Loopymind mentioned tying a knot for holding the weight where the wire passes through the board. How did you hold up the wires?
Quick question how did you hang the wires? I didn't see anything about knotting the wire or using some type of clamp...Thanks
BTW, I didn't check all of the comments, some are quite extensive.
Did I miss the recipe?I see the general idea, coffee, butter and oil with sweet and salty.I like to try a known taste before I go off into experimentation...
In the picture where the jig is set up in the garage, what is the item that is attached to the long members near the middle? Also, why not notch the long members to fit over the 2X4 on the sawhorse? I have the sash closures just in case...I'm building this right now, my next step is to make the slots to hold the shelves. Thanks for the idea!
Another question; why did you notch the long and short members at different depths?I had notched both at 1 3/4 inch and they are all flush.
