I have not tried drying vegetables or meat, but from doing some reading I read that you can dry them using a similar method, but they require different pre-treatment than fruit.

Thanks!
Great question, I'll update that step to be clearer. In part 1 of the draped cardigan you mark with pins the top shoulder seam and underarm seam of the sweater you used as a pattern on your fabric. These pin markings are where you place the hole pattern on your fabric in part 2.
That's such a great idea to turn a skirt into a cocoon cardigan! I like the no good part of this design too. Let me know how yours turns out and if you have any questions.

I agree. They're awesome! One wrap can be used with both my baby and toddler, I can wear them on my front, hip, or back and it keeps them snugged up close to me and my arms are free to get things done.

- cfremming commented on cfremming's instructable Galaxy Dyed Pants 2 years agoView Instructable »
Thanks so much, I love these pants!!! A sweater or skirt would be awesome. The fabric you use should be a high percentage of natural fiber like cotton or linen. Polyester doesn't take the fiber reactive dyes, so don't use polyester. The pants I used were 92% cotton, 8% spandex.
