Hi, for context of your reception range, approx where are you located? Thanks.
You could cut a credit-card sized piece of metal from the enclosure of an old hard disk, and place that in your wallet behind the cards. The top cover (on the disk I dismantled, anyway) is actually two very thin sheets of metal laminated together. I'm unsure whether this is mumetal or just aluminium, but I'd expect it to have fairly good shielding properties.
I think a magnet from an old hard drive could be used to good effect.
Dissolve in water in a trigger-spray-mist gun and spray the inside of your oven after each use. Over time it will breaks down the greasy dirt from roasting and leave your oven interior nice & clean, no caustic cleaning chemicals required.
The HP manual is also very helpful - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01868653Compaq Presario CQ61 Notebook PC and HP G61 Notebook PCMaintenance and Service GuideDocument Part Number: 573709-001
Useful. How old was yours when it broke? Mine is maybe 2-3 years old. It has broken at the hinge rather than on the latch.Do you think they would send a replacement door to the UK?
