I would think brass would make a better rivet than stainless steel? I'm pretty sure epoxy is a relatively new addition to knife making.
When I saw the square nail, I figured this had to be Sweden...Love It! Please do the F16 and the F22 as well, and maybe a Gripen too? When soldering different metals, it sometimes help to "pre-soldering" them individually before a final "melt together". And please be careful with sink plated parts as they can give off noxious gases. Well done instuctable and a beautiful airplane.
That is a really cool system! I would also opt for a tighter seal, maybe even mechanical? And the garage door would be a perfect place for such system. thanks for all the info.
wow, that's beautiful! Just don't go knocking on girl's doors now.
Wow, what a lucky son...despite not being ironman for Halloween..!
I hear your safety concerns loud and clear Mooster, but some of us that spend a lot of time in hotels, may that have that option.
Because they're the "duct tape capital" of the world.
Clearly your power-supply is very well done, but this simpler design seem better suited to my skill level ;) Seeing that yours seem more "capable" with the heatsink, fan, and the ferrite donut, can you elaborate on some of the additional features you built into yours. Thanks.
Great addition, many questions on this. I wish you could add this to the instructable somehow!
Awesome idea, you should make an 'able for this.
Made me want to eat my computer! Do you find the dough to preform better if you let it rest overnight in the fridge?
Such an amazingly complex and ingenious design. Could you articulate each digit separately or spread the fingers? Any chance of a V-sign or similar?
Judging from the "old fashion cold pressed linseed oil" bottle, written in Finnish, my best guess is that this rail is from outside of the US.
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Any chance you'll do a chimnea or smoker in the near future?
Careful what knowledge you ask for, haha. The old traditions were to get "a good bath every christmas and midsummer...wether you needed it or not...". Interestingly, the Swedish word for Saturday (Lördag) is derived from "bath day". While many of the english weekdays are borrowed from the Vikings, "Bath-day" didn't make the cut.
I put a wooden spoon (handle) in front of the potato to prevent cutting all the way thru. Then top with breadcrumbs for an even crisp and finish with a slice of cheese about 15 min before done.
Very nice! There is nothing like the satisfaction of creating something beautiful, with your bare hands, out of a piece wood.I'ld add a "curved scraper" to the tool set. One could be made out of an old saw blade, that way you could get the right diameter. Great instructable!
BLO is supposedly bad for leather (brakes it down), Neatsfoot oil is cheap and works great. Added benefit; you won't smell like a wood shop for the next month or two.
