    DIY Brushless Gimbal

Looks really good. The only thing I would add on the top is a universal ball adjustment so you can aim the camera at any angle while being able to lift it up and down and sideways... sometimes the straight up doesn't quite work for all work. Otherwise, nice work. I didn't see where you put in a 12V port. That is easy enough and would allow you to charge by solar as well however, you might have to add a very small Lithium charging board, but they are only a few dollars and easy to install. Also for the motor speeds you could consider adding a soft button that would electronically reduce the power output like LED light circuits have including the off and on. One other thing, how about a port to charge your phone while it is taking video or pictures. One other possible source for you parts...

Again, nice work and it inspires me to try it.

I have worked on perfecting this design with probably 10 prototypes for the last 5 years. I call it my iGet, iHold, and iUse Personal Solar System. Check out my design it includes everything you have here but all are controlled by a solar charger. I also have a direct input for charging from the wall plug. In addition it has a 48 LED flat light that will light up a room with 180° full spread warm or cool controlled by a mini SPST switch. It has a small barrel connector so you can directly plug in power for small scaled 12V lighting and devices. It also includes a lighted switch so you know it is one and off. The case is $4 at any Menard's and is a look a like but larger in width shell case all in plastic with a rubber bead top with nice ego handle that folds down flat so you can sta...

Looks good but limited to charging in the wall... just add a solar charger and you can charge it anywhere. Q... when the 3 electronic devices come with a plastic pre-drilled and mountable plastic face... why didn't you just cut a slot and drop it onto your base and screw it in... hum seems like you went to too much work for that part... also looks neater with the plastic. Hope you enjoy it as well as your first attempt... thanks for sharing.I hope I did it right let me know if I messed up...Curious as to why you make this? The Anywhere Outlet

Here's one for you... I made an adhock version to see if it had legs and yes, quite nice at that... the bottle lit up with wonderful light and you could go to sleep at night with this colorful water dance of color or just make your water look like a soda pop or something to trick your eyes and your stomach... any way, it is a wonderful way to see the world but no one has put it out yet. May be someone here can figure out how to actually make the electronics work. See my complete design sketch and see if you can make it come to life. Cheers!

Another “techie” thing is to use on the back of it or bottom putting on a Sonoff Bluetooth on off controller. Maybe you could show us how to do that as well. I understand how to put the controller on BUT, the stupid app will NOT remember my in formation and never will let me use the app... very frustrating.

I have spent time in South Sudan in the Upper Nile city of Malakal which was the starting place of Osama bin Laden.
