In order to change the cover image, click on the edit button on the first page of the Instructable. Add another image to the first step (if you only have one). View Instructable »Very neat. Can I make a small recommendation? You should use the finished product as the cover image. It generally makes an Instructable more appealing if you can see the finished product when viewing thumbnails. Again, great job!

Texturally, they were similiar to ham. Slightly springy, with good mouth feel. They released from the bones fairly well. I believe If you cooked them longer than I did, you would render the collagen better and get more of the "fall off the bone" type ribs than I did. Let me know the results, if you don't mind.

I used to have a 1977 KZ650 C. I guess you could say it was your bikes grandpa. I was going to get one of those police bikes, but decided to get something with fuel injection instead ('12 Vulcan Custom). Anyway, nice Instructable.

- shambuda2000 commented on seamster's instructable Build a floating deck2 years ago
Excellent work! This is, excluding your use of Trex decking, exactly the way that I constructed mine. Makes me wish I had documented mine for an Instructable! You've got my vote.
View Instructable »I built mine using pressure treated wood and the total cost came to approximately 650 USD. I also built mine in stages to stagger the cost and labor involved (as I built it alone). If you built it out of the synthetic lumber the author used, it would have been significantly more costly.

Looks really good! Tell me, have you had any issues with wheel bounce, i.e. the wheels striking the deck on rough terrain? Also, did you seal the the frame of the flatbed? Additionally, what was your total overall cost for this project? Once again, really good job.
Also, what did you do about the fuel filler neck?

I used to have an XJ and this would have been perfect. Alas, I sold it. What sort of sealer did you use on the decking? Having something exposed to that much sunlight all the time will definitely need some heavy UV resistance! Great Instructable!

- shambuda2000 commented on HomeRepairTutor 's instructable Soldering Quick Tips2 years agoView Instructable »
Tip 1 , a really easy way to tell if you have applied enough solder is to pre-bend the end of your roll, i.e. 1/2 inch pipe, 1/2" bend. This help eliminate the guess work as the amount solder drawn into the seam. Tip 2 is to keep a damp rag handy to wipe the joint directly after you apply the solder. Do it quickly and carefully and you will avoid that unsightly solder bubble on the bottom of the joint. Tip 3 is to keep a very damp rag on hand to lay on any existing fttings close to the area you are soldering, this will prevent too much heat transfer, which can cause the older fittings to loosen up and leak (very frustrating) Nice Instructable!
