    Portable Laminar Flow Hood

I think there might be an easier way to do this.... share your thoughts. Instead of all the expensive filters run the air through a water chamber just like using a water pipe. as the air bubbles through it will drop the impurities into the water i. e. wet dirt and dust can't fly. then on the other side put a small fan to push the water washed air on through. water is much cheaper than "hepa" filters. not to mention most of the so called hepas present day aren't true hepas they just stole the name from the original. You might have to make more than one water chamber to eliminate impurities so depending on space maybe your way would work. another way you could do it is to run a small mist sprinkler inside a container and push the air slowly through it just like when it rains out...

These are just guesses, I could be completely wrong, but I am going to try it on mine.

  • How to Grow Oyster Mushroom Spawn (Low Tech)

Hey Rocketsurgery,Good article good information so thanks to those who contributed. I have several questions but I will start with one. Getting ready to start my venture. Let's say I have innoculated jars that have colonized with mycelium. These were made from spore syringes. I am now ready to mix with substrate (straw in this case). I am going to use grow bags in dark grow room. In the dark grow room what temp and humidity do I need for the bags to colonize? Again I have many questions but instead of bombarding you all at once I will ask one at a time. Thanks for your help in advance, swimmingupstream
