unstoppable energy

Hi there, Is there any power source that never be stopped?  Well, I am thinking of producing energy from the working principle of electromagnetic induction. it can be a charger, so no worries for short battery life (or maybe replace battery). I am lack of idea on how ti get it start.  Seeking for advice.  TQ.

Energy to matter?

                One of my friends recently talked to me.  The first thing he said was, "Energy to matter."  He said it in the way he talks when we're planning on building something dangerous, unlikely to work, and quite possibly FBI watchlist-worthy. Though I know it's been looked into before, this got me thinking:  does anyone have any ideas on practical applications of the equivalency between energy and matter?  (aside from the atomic bomb--e.g.  Fabricators that carry hundreds of products' worth of materials in a small, energy-dense source, like a battery?)

Energy wheel

This Idea is based on Magnetic Repulsion and Kinetic force. According to diagram there will be a  Wheel and a magnet(1) will be attached with this wheel. There will be a balance system(seesaw system) and two magnets(2no.magnet and 3no. magnet) will be attached with this balance system . when 1 magnet will repel 2 no.magnet then the 2 no.magnet will move upward and due to this movement the 3 no. magnet will come down and will work to repel 1 no. magnet and wheel will start to rotate. when 1 no. magnet will again repel 2 no.magnet after a rotation then the 3 no. magnet will again work to repel the 1 no.magnet. In this way the wheel will rotate again and again.The magnetic strength of 1 no. magnet will be high than 2 no. and magnetic strength of 3 no. magnet will be high than 1 no. magnet. I want to develop this technology.

Im very new to electronics, say that i had something like a cellphone or mp3 player charging through solar power, would I just attach as many solar pannels as i please and wire them into the usb to whatever ipod uses cable? I assume that there would be some extra parts that i would have to put in like resistors and such. but what would i need?

Solar Energy

Hi, i would like to ask for opinion, i am building a solar system where my system start from using a fresnel lense to collect the sun and use it to heat up a boiler, the boiler transfer steam into my tesla turbine and the turbine will turn my generator to produce electricity. Do anyone have any idea of building an own boiler instead of using a pressure cooker that i had seen this idea in somewhere, And, is there any places can provide cheaper fresnel lense as the sun focusing tool?? i will need a cheaper price lense cause of shortage in my budget of my final year project...

free energy (almost)

Wood powered air compressor 15 to 20 feet high, have not added the valves or pistons or gears but i thought this idea up today and felt like sharing it, last month I posted an idea about using steam pressure to pump water vertically and with the right configuration a header tank might be able to be adapted to work this contraption, using kinetic energy with a spring on the main arm and the weight of water to operate the arm to drive pumps. I dislike seeing fires go to waste and theres only so much damper you can cook. its the first time ive attempted to upload a movie, hope it works otherwise this message is pointless.

Our main source of  energy right now is nuclear energy. Although Nuclear energy  might seem to be a reliable source of energy, it is not.  Nuclear energy is not a reliable source of energy  because you need to extract Uranium ore from the earth's core which might seem as a good  source of Uranium it is not. This is not a endless supply  of uranium because it will eventually  run out of uranium .   So what can we do to solve this issue? The answer is alternative energy.  Alternative energy  is energy that can be renewed  and that is reliable. One solution is replacing Uranium fuel rods in a reactors core with Tritium. Tritium can be used  as a substitute for uranium because it has the same properties as uranium except that it has a shorter  half life.  Tritium is made by fusing solid  Hydrogen With Lithium  in a Farnsworth reactor.  This also has its problems one major  problem is the radiation and heat that is generated during the process  of fusion. Tritium can be then used as a fuel  pellet for a Nuclear reactor when it is mixed with Deuterium which is a solid. Tritium is also a good fuel pellet because it only has a life span of about 12.4 years, then  it decays into Helium 6 which is very harmless. Uranium on the other hand is not  safe because it has a life span of about 2000 years and it gradually decays into other radioactive material such as Thorium, neptunium, ECT.... This is Called the Uranium - Thorium cycle. The tritium is also ecologically friendly because it  can be made from H1 which is found in water H2O.  H1 is called Portion and is extracted through a process called electrolyses in which water is charged by a D.C current.

This is some what true but in the case of research  there is no “bad” waste being emitted from the reactions that undergo in theses reactors. Commercial Nuclear Reactors or CNRs do produce a lot of residue. They produce this residue by using their fuel so much to the point of radioactive waste. Small Research Reactors or SRRs do not do this, instead of using it up they produce new isotopes that can be useful instead of becoming waste.   So why don't we use SRRs? We do not use SRRs because of financial and safety. The safety concern comes in when the reactors are able to undergo Nuclear fission witch releases huge amounts of heat that no current materiel known to men kind is capable of withstanding. The other type of SRR is safe and financially friendly but does not produce electricity instead it uses approximately 1 million volts DC, but produces isotopes from elements such as Hydrogen witch is found in water.   In conclusion nuclear energy has not ended.

It's supposed to be totally eco-friendly and it's planned to be sold out as commercial cold fusion device. Just thought to share this with others on Instructables. I like it and am looking forward to seeing this in my hands when it's made commercial. How about you?

Energy with Seesaw system

In this sketch you will find that I have attached 10 shake flashlights on  the both side of a balanced seesaw system and this seesaw is moving with a 6 volt motor but  I have used 10 no. shake flashlights and each flashlight will produce only 2 volt as a output which will be less than input . On the first hand each flashlight is producing only 2 volt and on the second hand the total 10 no. flashlights systems are producing 20 volt . If we try this concept than input is more than output but if we add total output then it is greater than input. please answer me that will these flashlights will be light up or not as mass is not an issue in this device. Note(1)each flashlight is separate with another flashlight . (2)to move a balanced seesaw there is need of less energy or input. These flashlights are mounted permanently ,horizontally on the both Arms of a seesaw(making+ symbol and view my sketches) and this seesaw will move side to side just 2 to 4 centimeter only.remember we will only shake the only one arm of this seesaw with corner and flashlights will not slide as these are mounted permanently on the arm of this seesaw. suppose if a flashlight require 10 watt power to glow up then we will have to apply 20 watt so that so that this 20 watt input could also counter some mechanical loss also.but this 20 watt input will be sufficient to glow up these 10 flashlights as all flashlight are permanently attached on this seesaw so each will shake with equal force or applying force will be equally distributed in these flashlights..in other words we are giving 20 watt input and out put is 150 watt with these 10 no. flashlight.we can do it with our hand power to test it to shaking the seesaw.

Do you want to learn how to go green or save enrgy. Well your at the right place. To start try by buying solar lamps and make a clothesline washers and dryers use a ton of energy. If you are looking for a car you should think about a priuis hybrid. They get up to 60 mpg!!!! Also turn lights off if not being used. always turn ff the tv and computer when gone or not using it may be a hassle for some people so if you have a desktop at least turn off the screen. please comment

Storing Lightning Energy? Answered

Hey Guys, I have wondered on this from a long time. Can lightning energy be stored? Lightning occurs when water droplets rub together right? Which means this is static electricity. As lightning strike the highest point why dont they make a huge conductive bar? And as i know from the various lyden jar projects storing static isnt that difficult. So why dont they do it? I asked my dad  that how much is it per lightning strike he said millions of kilovolts if that is true then why dont they store it? My dad said that its because they cant store that much electricity. Is that the only reason? BTW I'm 12 so please ignore my dumb electric knowledge :).

Energy return on investment for various different energy sources

We're used to thinking about the cost per unit of energy (e.g. $/gallon of gasoline) with the implicit assumption that cost is a rough indicator of what is required to obtain that energy. The Oil Drum has a nice piece on Energy Return on Investment (EROI) and the implications of using low EROI energy sources. To dive right in, it's instructive to think about the EROI of domestic oil production as a function of time:100:1 in 193030:1 in 197011-18:1 in 2000EROI on the Web part 2 of 5, (Provisional Results Summary, Imported Oil, Natural Gas)Energy return on investment, sometimes called EROI and sometimes called EROEI, is thought by many, including myself, to be a critical issue for determining the past, present and future status of human society. It is usually considered in terms of energy return on energy investment, but it can also be considered in terms of energy return on monetary investment. While much of human progress has been attributed, rightfully, to technology, much of that technology has been a means of using more energy for human ends. This is true for fire, knife blades and spear points (energy concentrating devices), the development of agriculture and the increase in its productivity and, essentially all aspects of the industrial revolution.EROI is simply the energy delivered by an energy-obtaining activity compared to the energy required to get it. If the numerator and denominator are expressed in the same units (barrels per barrel, MegaJoules per MegaJoule) the result is a dimensionless ratio, i.e. 100:1 or 10:1). Obviously a higher ratio implies a more desirable fuel than a lower one, other things being equal (which is rarely the case). The concept is extremely simple in theory but often very difficult in execution, mostly because society generally maintains its records in monetary rather than energy terms. Another problem is that the U.S. Government has not supported such studies in a consistent fashion and it is my perception that the quality of some energy records as are kept by e.g. the U.S. Departments of Energy and of Commerce appear to be deteriorating in recent years. Thus deriving the energy cost of getting energy (or most other things) is generally somewhat, and oftentimes exceedingly, difficult. A second problem is that the usual measure of the quantity of a fuel, its heat value, often does not give a full assessment of that fuel's ability to do economic or other work. Most simply electricity and thermal heat from e.g. coal or oil have a great difference in their ability to do work, such as we are willing to trade three or four heat units of coal or oil in a thermal plant for one thermal unit of higher quality electricity. Thus if the input and output fuels are of different quality then it is often thought desirable to weight in some way the inputs and the outputs. A third problem is that it is important to consider boundaries: how large should we draw the boundaries of the energy analysis for the inputs? We will consider these issues in far more detail in later publications but there are many reasons why it is important to make summaries of EROI available at this time even though many uncertainties exist in the numbers that we present here, and indeed with any numbers that might be possible to generate.via jforbess

Energy underneath your house?

Hi all! I've being thinking on how to get off grid for a while now, in the first stage to use solar power to get the energy bills go down and in second place to get my stamp on earths energy consumption, using my house in a greener way. So solar energy and wind energy are on my mind, but recently i started to think about more possibilities. Like using my crawlspace to work for me. Maybe its posible to make a wind turbine underneath the house, or use the constant temperature to cool my house during summer. I've seen plans on the internet ( and cant find them anymore... ) about using a sort off vacuum chamber that has a constand wind flow comming in, trough a system of pipes that drive a wind turbine inside. The idea is that, because of the vacuum effect, you need only a small gust of wind to power the turbine. Where i live theres always wind, sometime a little, sometimes waaay to much. The crawlspace i have isnt that high, about 50CM in hight, and during the Fall and Winter months theres a high level of water, about 25CM. Durring summer its mostly muddy sand, so there's stil a lot off cool water trapt in there. So about the idea on cooling my house, how about a water cooling system that runs trough the house? How would you guys make such systems, have you already tryed this out, and are there some enthousiastic folks out there willing to go all the way and show these idea's are doable, so everyone can make it??? Dubious instructable: free energy???

Yet I think this instructable either needs some serious TLC or removal. It reads like an advertisement in some parts.

How to harness the energy in snow

I found a thread that asked this question previously on instructables but the author wanted to harness the kinetic energy of falling snow, and many of the criticisms involved the unpredictability of when snow will fall.I am specifically curious if it is possible to create a machine to remove snow that uses the energy of the snow itself. Ideally, it would melt the snow and use the water or steam to power itself.The things Canadian winters do to the mind...

Using Your Body Energy!

Using a multimeter i tested myself out of curiosity using two differing metals and found i give off about 0.6 volts at about 20 milliamps, using a small capacitor it charges fine, I then used multiple ones in parallel and it also charges quick, when i disconnect it from myself then shift the capacitors into series i can flash a small led. Whats a good circuit for doing this automatic when a charge is built up? Also are there any other good low power things I could do with it? Solar power is great but wouldn't it be cool if we could also use our own ambient body energy to do low energy stuff!

Home made energy saver

First of all sorry for my English Its just an idea, like that "Intelligent Power Strip" but on the cheap. Use a relay powered from the PC molex (5v yellow-black), so that when you turn off your computer, it turns off, for example, the sound system, modem... connected to this. I have no experience with relays or high voltage. Anybody interested?

Energy Efficient Dog Door

Winter is coming and I have four dogs and two cats. We installed a dog door to the outside some time ago, but it's a big air leak. Even though we replace the door every six months, it's only plastic with magnets on the edges, and doesn't always fall back into place. I've tried various solutions, but what I really need is a solid door that locks into place, or a door that opens and closes with a trigger. Automatic dog doors cost about $350.00 - $450.00, and require the dog wears a special collar. I'm not looking for security, I'm looking for energy efficiency. Can someone please help? I know there are lots of others in the same position.

I have recently seen the free energy using two DC motors.After watching it.I had interest in making that.At the same time, one question has raised in my mind.That is according to the newton law ,energy can neither be created nor destroyed or it can transform from one form to another.According to that free energy seems to me as fake.Any one explain me, is it real or fake?

solar energy using photons

 (( the opposite of gravity is radiation . there for light is radiation . which cary photons . now if you have a turbine in a vacume filed with a gas (mecury )the photon will heat the gas making a presusre that will turn the turbine but i was thinking. add a denamo to the shaft insde the vacume . when mecury heats it expands .at lest try to make 12 volts add a capsitor -to gel batteries -  transformer from 12v to 120v now modify the transistor to make 220 . havent found any info online.at longest there is light from the moon or the sun it will work. ive discused this with enginerr they think this might just work . all the variables are here any sugestions fell free to ask
